Sky got the game - I think he likes it but doesn't know much about the units and strats.
I wanted to check out the original before they released the new one so I bought it and I just did not care for it at all as it was not anything like AoE, AoK, EE, etc. to me.
Are you guys really enjoying it thus far?

saracen,
since AoK, this is by far the best RTS that has come out that I know of. I have played every RTS game, civ, C&C, EE, AoM, AoE3... keep going down the list.
the reason is because there is soo many more players on this game and battle net is better in some ways and not in some,
I am not a big fan of not having the chat channels to talk to people between matches.
my first recommendations would be to try on sky's copy.

what is the point of getting a new game if it is similar or exactly the same as the old ones???
I have to agree with NOMAD, this is by far the best since aok, if not better.

Its a basic game lacking the complexity of Aoe3 but I am enjoying it. Twin Webgates and then zealot rushing (using tc to speed up webgates) works well i find.
