2006

Guild-Only Members 

2006 didn't really see any major changes to the games we play. We continued to play World of Warcraft and Age of Empires III, although an expansion did come out for AOE3 and when Mystic Supream was awarded leadership responsibilities of the game, he made drastic changes in order to help run our online guild successfully.

We introduced a new kind of member, a guild-only member. This meant that for the first time members of our online team or guild, did not need to belong to our web site team or forum membership. This made it faster to recruit and boot members and keep a constantly busy online prescence. We also managed to get into the top 10 online guilds in the game in terms of rankings, at one time reaching Number 7.

World of Warcraft continued to addict players the world over, and our members were no exception, although many dropped the game due to the addiction and boredom, some members even came back to the game. Our community was split though in this game, with USA and European members unable to meet each other online due to the fact that they were playing in different server "zones".

Our members also joined different online guilds, there was no Mighty Mystics guild in this game during 2006 as it was found too difficult to sustain in the long term due to the huge numbers of members needed in order to complete many of the aspects of the end-game.

This year Mystic Marz, our Guild Wars leader, took our online membership to start his own web site and clan seperate from our community. We then dropped the game. Mystic Chinese became a royal and Mystic Korean was rather illusive. Both however, continued as members and we do hope to see them again in the future.

We also dabbled in other games this year, a non-official game "City Of Villains" and also some players started playing Warcraft III Frozen Throne again.
